Using our unique Chromoprobe process, multiple probes are reversibly bound to a glass slide providing a convenient screening tool for genetic abnormalities across multiple chromosomes. Key applications include detection of chromosomal rearrangements and as a diagnostic / prognostic tool in the detection of various Leukaemias.

Aquarius^® Range

Aquarius probes ( FISH Probes ) are directly labelled liquid probes provided in hybridisation solution. The probes are accompanied by DAPI counterstain to provide a complete Fluorescence In Situ Hybridisation kit.

Cytocell utilises Fluorescence In Situ Hybridisation (FISH) to produce DNA probes for the formulation of DNA diagnostic FISH kits for use in routine and research constitutional and oncology cytogenetics. The FISH probes can be further categorized into Microdeletions ( eg. DiGeorge), Subtelomeres, Satellites (Centromere Probes), Whole Chromosome Painting Probes , Haematology Probes (eg. BCR/ABL) and Oncology Probes. These FISH Probes are available in the Aquarius (liquid) format or the Multiprobe Macroarray format.
